A future based on inheritance

Been listening to a lot of interviews these days. I swear I should have been a psychologist, I would be excellent. When people talk about their live journeys and the legacies they want to leave behind, many if them mention securing a wealthy inheritance for their children and grand children, this is mentioned mostly by people who had a rough journey in life. They experienced the difference in living with and without wealth. This idea left me provoked about inheritance.
Studies show that many people who inherit wealth do not grow it, they actually spend it until they are left with next to nothing then they have to go find a job. Finding a job based on such a circumstance is not ideal because the motive behind the job is based on making money rather than building something which will make a difference or something which will fulfill you. Your life will basically be miserable from there on because all you will be thinking is bills and you will not be fulfilled. People rather do what fulfills them and find a way of selling it.
We are often informed on the news that billionaires are pledging most of their wealth to charity organizations rather than leaving it to their children, most of their reasons are based on the fact that they know that their children will figure life out without those fortunes. That is understandable because if your parents are billionaires they should have taught you how to make money, therefore your life is not based on the money but on doing what fulfills you as a person because financially you can secure yourself.
I asked myself a question, “are these people suffering from struggle mentality?” Maybe they are because they experienced the extremes of poverty, and they saw how the access to cash changed their “hustle”.
How much inheritance did you earn? What kind of lifestyle can it afford you? Will you still need to go find a job because it might run out? This is how our kids lives will look like because we are busy securing wealth for our kids. What are they going to do with their lives if chances state that they might not grow their wealth? How are they going to teach their kids how to create wealth if they don’t know how because they are enjoying yours? If your kids are not taught how to create wealth they are going to lose it.
What will happen to kids which wont inherit wealth ? Will they be generational labourers? Possibly.
A future of inheritance can be dark if inheritance is not passed on with knowledge, it could be a burden which would place a kid without inheritance at an advantage.
I believe in teaching a kid how to fish rather than feeding them, because if you feed them you will have to feed them forever. Seems like this is a billionaire mindset since they are giving away their wealth.
I was also provoke my a documentary by Jamie Johnson, called “the one percent”. I asked myself one more question; “will a future of inheritance really be bright for my kids if they wont grow it and if they will possibly do nothing with their lives ?”

It is not enough

I got inspired and I saw it fitting that I should share these wise words with my community. As we are chasing our dreams we need to be in the right mindset so that we can achieve optimum results. Be motivated and share with others.
“There is no prize out there. The only prize is this one [points to self], and what you feel, and what you want to accomplish…
I mean, to want and to be ambitious, and to want to be successful is not enough. That’s just desire.
To know what you want; to understand why you’re doing it; to dedicate every breath in your body, to achieve… If you feel you have something to give, if you feel your particular talent is worth developing, is worth caring for, then there’s nothing you can’t achieve.
You’re going to grow up with your colleagues. You’re going to watch them have success and watch them have failure, and you’re going to watch how they deal with it. And they can be as much a teacher for you as anyone here, or anyone who’s privileged enough to come here and speak to you.”

Define

From the day we are born, we start learning how to live in this complex world. The biggest challenge is not to survive but to live, to enjoy and to have an amazing human experience before we return to our spiritual existence again.
I have realised that most of us are chasing some form of success, socially, financially or otherwise. We are at a constant chase however most of us have never seat down and thought about what we are chasing. We have not defined what our perceptions of our desired success looks like, and that makes the journey impossible to complete.
Frustrations are mostly experienced when people are stuck but they do not understand why they are stuck, they find it impossible to ask for help because they don’t know what to ask for, they basically do not know what is wrong but they know that something is not the way it is supposed to be, because they feel incomplete.
“Successful” people know what they desire, and they know how to achieve their desires. Some people are already “successful” but they desire the glories of success. They are chasing the money, the fame and other things which were not part of the actual dream. Some people have the money and the fame but they have not achieved their dreams therefore they are not successful. A lot of people confuse these two scenarios and that is what stops them from reaching a point of happiness, a point where they are living.

It is important to define your dream. The only way one can achieve anything in life is by defining exactly what one wants to achieve, because without that definition one cannot achieve any form of success because they wouldn’t know how it looks like. There are people who have everything… Think about it!
My dream is to motivate, inspire and teach people how to dream and follow through. I AM DOING EXACTLY THAT EVERYDAY in various ways. That means I am successful. Everything which comes after me doing what I love is the Glory of success.
We desire to live, however we trap our selves in a state of surviving because we cannot define our desires. We are sold everything and we want everything. At the end of the day our happiness, our lives don’t lie in having everything, they lie in that definition we need to all figure out.

Define the dream

The dog

The other day I was talking a walk in my neighborhood just to relax my mind. As I was walking I passed this strange looking house. There was overgrown grass everywhere as well as vines growing on the walls of the house. The place looked dark as if the sun had already went down. As I was just about to pass that yard a dog started barking. I stopped and looked because this house seemed like it was abounded. The dog was in a cage; it started banging the door of the cage however it couldn’t get out as it barked and barked until the owner came out of the house. It was an old man, he had a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He looked at me and said “please move on you are upsetting my dog”. I stood there for a couple of seconds as my mind had just been fucked.
A few seconds later as I was very shocked I “moved on”; I continued with my walk but I couldn’t get what I had just experienced out of my mind. Why is this guy living in such a house? And why is that dog locked in a cage?
The desperation in the eyes of that dog shows that it never interacts with other people besides its owner, and definitely it never interacts with other dogs. The desperation looked frighteningly dangerous, I am definitely sure that had the dog opened the door of that cage it would have attacked me. It was desperate to do something besides sitting in its cage. It was desperate to have a different experience, however it is literally trapped; literally.
That dog reminded me of a lot of people, all these people including myself we are desperate to live our dreams however we are trapped in systems which promised us “a better future”. Some people are constrained because of the lack of resources(mostly money) as they have been conditioned that they will never live their dreams without these resources or without being part of these systems. As much as this dog is literally trapped, people are equally trapped because what you believe in is very powerful; what you believe in takes over your mind.
Who knows how long has this dog been living in this mans system. It is possible that should it be taken out of that cage it would still live in that small space where the cage used to be and think it is still trapped. At this point it might think it is not trapped because living in a cage is normal to it.
All of us in the world we are trapped by some sort of system, we all have this “man” who has conditioned us to believe that we are not trapped, we cannot see or feel these traps because we have never been taught how to think independently. Everything we know was taught to us.
NOW BE THIS DOG
Imagine being released for the first time in your life, no system; no “man”. You have never learned anything besides sitting inside that system (cage). Everything you have done is something someone else has done before. Now you are free, the cage is open and you have the opportunity to leave. What would you do? Where would you go?
There is more out there, all we need to do is Dream and stop thinking of things which will stop us. We are not literally trapped; we just need to unlock our minds to new worlds, to new possibilities.
As I continued with my walk I said to myself “I should stop being that dog, I rather be the man!”…

The Man.

Why is this guy living in such a house with a dog locked in a cage in a dark space? The dog will always see you first and indicate your presence to the man. It is an actual alarm, people do not install alarms unless they want to guard something valuable.
The system creator is always very intelligent, the man reminded me of all the powerful men from the past and some from present times. They have some sort of paranoia. It is either they will try as much as possible to hide themselves from public life or they will flex their power to create fear which will prevent people from confirming who they are, what they do or anything that will cause attention to the reason why their system was created. They are always protecting the system and they know that the system starts and ends with them so they are the curse and the blessing to their system. Therefore what is this man doing in such a house?
Pablo Escobar is a classic example from recent times beides your Hitlers, Nelson Mandelas and many others who knew the power they had. They sell a perception which will be appealing to people so that they can capture them into believing in their systems. “Good” or “bad” power works the same way, because people who have “bad” power see the people with “good” power as bad because they are in opposite ends of power and there is always conflict between positive and negative. Good and bad is also subjective, it is based on how it is packaged and sold.
So this man has trapped this dog inside a cage so that it can guard him, because when he feels safe he knows that his system is safe. He doesn’t even consider the ripple effect he has caused by placing that dog in that cage. In human life it affects the children and the surrounding family members as well as many generations which will follow. Such a simple act of placing a person in a system can cause poverty, unemployment, racism, inequality and many other societal problems, however we do not typically think like that but that is what social engineers “the men” do. They think about it but they don’t consider it because it might just stop them from protecting the system.
Why be the dog when you can choose to be the man? Being the man is as simple as creating a system and making sure that people in your system believe by showing them the benefits of your system. Once they believe you are powerful. Once you are powerful you are the man! Once you are the man you are the system.
…”I should stop being that dog, I rather be the man” I said to myself because I realised where the power lies. The opportunity to be in control. All it takes is a dream and following through.

“Change is the only constant”

Tick tock tick tock tick tock… this is the sound a clock makes to emphasize the movement of time. Time can only move in one direction and that is forward. All living spies are busy growing. We are aging as time continues to seduce us. We are constantly changing, however we are not only changing physically; we are also changing emotionally and mentally. We are evolving.
A lot of us struggle to adjust to change. we will continue to struggle until we realize that change is a constant, we should embrace all the changes in our lives the small and the major. To truly embrace it we should see all change as positive change. But most importantly we should stop dwelling on the past.
“It takes courage to let go of the familiar and embrace the new“, Change is difficult in the beginning, messy in the middle and overwhelmingly gorgeous at the end of the cycle.
Imagine being an insect, every time the rainy season comes your nest is washed away, immediately you adjust yourself mentally and emotionally. You prepare yourself to rebuild every morning because it may rain every day. At the end of the season you have plenty to eat because of the nutritious season, you rebuild and you enjoy a good 8 months. You experienced an uncomfortable and tediousness time; however you enjoyed the fruits of change.
It is a constant and we have to get used to it because it births beauty and progress.
